Train-the-Trainer

In-house trainers need to quickly develop skills that produce results-driven training. Whether new to training or a training veteran, it is never too soon to learn good habits, and there is always room for improvement. Every trainer needs to be equipped with The Essentials: fundamental knowledge of adult learning theory, the basics of course development, effective classroom management and delivery skills, workplace applications and measurement tools.

In this custom-designed workshop series with individual coaching, trainers will learn how to become well-rounded facilitators and presenters. Topics include the following:

Fundamentals	understanding the principles of adult learning theory developing needs assessments developing learning objectives

Course creation	choosing instructional methods designing effective lessons or reinvigorating existing programs constructing support materials

Classroom management and delivery	creating a positive learning space managing classroom dynamics learning and practicing the seven key delivery skills

Workplace application	applying lessons on the job creating high-impact action plans developing informal follow-up training and/or coaching

Measurement	applying valid measurement tools interpreting results creating results reports

Certificate Programs: an affordable, quality option

Bringing training in house we can certify your staff trainers through our Train-the-Trainer program. To maintain a high level of quality, we may require candidates to possess a baseline knowledge of the subject matter to teach certain classes. However, we will work with you any way we can to bring our programming in-house to meet the demands of your internal clients.
